Task 3 : Final

INSTRUCTIONS :

RESEARCH :

We have few remaining research tasks for this particular task. Nevertheless, our promotional video, of which I was a part, was subject to numerous comments from our lecturer. Among these were suggestions for slight refinement with regard to the implementation of kinetic animation and the communication of messages throughout the video.

In order to prevent the audience from becoming bored, I conducted additional research regarding video teasers and their optimal duration. Everything else being equal, we have completed our prototype for this task.

PROGRESSION :

  • WEEK 11

Figure 1.0 Patterns

This week, our objective was to enhance our concept and deliverables for clients through the application of our patterns, which we consider to be of such high quality that they should not be confined to our brand guideline. As a result, we initiated the expansion of the deliverables by designing handkerchiefs and napkins in June, a teammate, in accordance with these patterns.

Here are several designs that June has generated. She implemented our brand's pattern by utilising it to create a serviette design. The napkins are available in three distinct hues, all of which are the official colours of our brand and feature our logo as well.

  • WEEK 12

Figure 2.0 Paper Bag

Figure 2.1 Paper Bag

Regarding the paper box, we also believe that we must implement the concepts we developed in the previous week's assignment. As a result, I made the decision to design paper bags that prominently feature the Kita Keto mascot, which we consider to be exceptionally well-made, and to use our brand's mascot and colour to increase awareness. Presented here are the outcomes of the paper bag.

Furthermore, the following are specifics and what results in paper bag. We chose to maintain a simple design for the bag in order to emphasise the mascot more.

Figure 3.0 Final Promotional Video/Teaser

In light of the insightful feedback I received from Ms. Lilian and my colleagues, I made the decision to simplify the promotional/teaser video. Unnecessary elements were removed, including kinetic animation, needless messages or information, and parts of footage that were considered unsuitable for a promotional video. Furthermore, a sneak peek and teaser of the actual product were included. The finishing video of Kita Keto is as follows:

    REFLECTIONS :

Finally, this module has concluded. This module has taught me a lot, especially how to be a leader and ensure that everyone contributes to the work. We were able to produce a well-designed prototype for our clients and exceed their expectations as a group. We were also very proud of ourselves when we saw our product presented and showcased at innofest, and I couldn't be happier with the kita keto final product.

However, some difficulties occurred during the progression, but the worst was that two of our members went missing and left their responsibility in the group work (I wish I could mention their names, but I can't). It was difficult for us to manage this project when some of our team members were absent, and it was also difficult for me when the clients requested revisions while we were short on manpower. However, I'd like to express my gratitude to Gita, who never stopped helping me out during this module and making this project less stressful. June and Hadiya deserve special mention for their constant encouragement throughout the semester.

Otherwise, I'd like to express my appreciation to Ms Lilian, who never stopped supporting me throughout this module. I learned and grew a lot as a result of her feedback and suggestions, which fueled our desire to create a better design.

Finally, I'd like to thank TBS (The Business School) for being such a fun and playful client and for tolerating our late prototype due to a lack of manpower. The clients were very kind and supportive, which means a lot to me. And also I would like to say congratulations for finally finishing the innofest very well!. That's all I have to say about this module; overall, it helped me become a better person while also improving my leadership skills.
