  • MOODBOARD
To begin the project, I gathered a number of references that I found really intriguing on the internet. I chose an antique European type building, which I believe is rather unique in a game like Call of Duty. Here are a few more references:

  • SKETCHES
Here are some sketches and progressions I've created. I tried to employ a variety of angles to provide variety to my sketches. My sketches were so greatly affected by European museum style that I ended up designing a museum (which was later abandoned), and here are some of my sketches:

  • FURTHER PROGRESSION
Here is my evolution for exterior and landscape design. As previously indicated, I ended up using an abandoned museum building, which turned out rather well despite being a little pale. A final revision of this image can be found in the environment bible in the finished product. And here is my current progression:

REFLECTIONS :

To be honest, I'm having a hard time with this assignment. I'm out of ideas for what my exterior should look like, and the constant feedback is driving me insane. Nonetheless, I completed Project 1 despite the fact that it has not yet been rendered. Overall, the class was excellent, and this module and project taught me a great deal about environmental design.
