Task 2 : Character Design Execution
INSTRUCTIONS :
TASK PROGRESSIONS :
- CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Figure 1.0 Character Turnaround
Because I am not happy with the progress I made on the previous task, I
have decided to make some additional improvements to my character by
modifying its pose and the details on its costume, taking inspiration
from the character design of Eren Paxley.
A further improvement was made to the armor as well as the accessories,
such as the belt and the diamond that was placed on the hood. On the
other hand, the hand armor and the lower part of the body, such as the
boots, are the areas of this character design that have undergone the
most notable transformations.
- OUTFIT ALTERNATIVES
Figure 2.0 Outfit Alternatives
In order to provide a variety of options for the costumes, I chose to create three distinct categories for the outfits, each of which had two distinct variations. After doing extensive research on the Mobile Legends character skins, I have come to the conclusion that the most important factor a customer or gamer will take into consideration before purchasing a new skin is whether or not it has a theme that is distinct from the character's base appearance. They will determine whether the skin is unique enough to warrant purchasing it or whether it is simply a basic skin that is comparable to the one that was originally available.
As a result, I came up with two distinct looks and ideas based on the first version, as well as an additional option based on the first character for the third version of the figure 2.0. The middle one, I found that this vampire type of style will be very suitable for this character because he uses a hood and hero cape that are suitable for the vampire concept. I found that the Japanese style is very unique for this character with dark hair because at the moment, the Japanese skin style in mobile legend had become very popular. And finally, the last one is for the character of Eren, and it is a more arctic hero style that I found to be too heavy for this character.
- FACIAL EXPRESSIONS
Figure 3.0 Facial Expressions
For the expressions, I had a lot of trouble while I was working on this task because, as I mentioned earlier, Eren is an introvert and an extremely close person, in addition to being emotionless, and because of this, I had a lot of trouble deciding what expressions I should use to represent this character.
Eren is an emotionless character, so the expressions I came up with make sense for him. They are "normal," "angry," "annoyed," "smile," "bored," and "pissed." I found that these six expressions will best represent this character, and they are as follows: Normal, Angry, Annoyed, Smile, Bored, and Pissed.

REFLECTIONS :
In spite of the fact that time management is the most significant challenge this semester, I have the impression that I will have a lot more fun than I did last semester. This semester has given me the opportunity to explore my artistic potential and to engage in one of my favorite activities, namely the creation of game characters. Ms. Anis, who is serving as our lecturer, has a very kind heart and is aware of the struggles that all of the students have faced throughout the course of this semester. This semester is also difficult for me because drawing takes more time during progression than designing does, and frequent public holidays are also a huge burden for us because we might miss some of the consultation section with our lecturer. Both of these factors combine to make this semester particularly difficult for me.
