Task 1 : Personification
INSTRUCTIONS :
TASK PROGRESSIONS :
- CHARACTER INTRODUCTION
You are not allowed to create your own universe because it takes so much
time for us to build it from scratch, and the very first task that we
will be assigned for this semester is to create our very own characters
based on a real or existing universe (such as an anime, movie, or video
game). Through the process of developing a character's history and
biography, we will be required to produce a character who is compatible
with the universe that was selected and which makes sense within that
universe.
For my character, I decided to use the world and universe of Mobile
Legends, and I created a new character who is related to a real and
existing character from Mobile Legends. My character is based on or
heavily inspired by Gusion and Aamon, both of whom are well-known
players in Mobile Legends; the following is information about them:

- SILHOUETTE AND CHARACTER STUDIES
For this task, we were required to create character sketches (8 silhouette
sketches) in order to find the best sketches that we might possibly
develop it to create a good character for my chosen universe, which is
Mobile Legend. The task was to find the best sketches so that we could
possibly develop it to create a good character. As I mentioned earlier, my
character will be very inspired by characters from mobile legends and will
be dominated by the royal emperor style. Because of this, I decided to
make the following eight sketches:
Figure 2.1 Silhouette Sketches.
Ms. Anis and I came to the conclusion that the character presented in Figure 2.0 lacked the exploration necessary to be the main character or an interesting character for Mobile Legends. On the other hand, she came to the conclusion that the second option presented in Figure 2.1 is interesting, which is why I will continue developing that particular sketch.
- PROGRESSION 1
Figure 3.0 First Progression.
I decided to go back to the concept where this character is heavily
influenced by the sketch that was chosen earlier. In addition, this
character was inspired by the character from Mobile Legend itself that
is Gusion and Aamon. For the first progression of this character, I
decided to refer back to the concept. For this costume, particularly for
the cape and the coat, symbolized how introverted or a very close person
he is, while the long white hair and his fur symbolized his alias, which
is the "Arctic Fox." For this costume, particularly for the cape and the
coat, symbolized how introverted or a very close person he is.
Despite this, neither ms anis nor I were happy with the outcome of my
first attempt at developing this character. I blame the outcome on
myself. Because the coat covers the entire body, including the body
shape, and it is nearly impossible to see the details of the costume
behind the coat, Ms. Anis came up with some suggestions for me that I
will put into practice on the second progressions. The majority of his
body was hidden because the coat covered the entire body, including the
body shape.
- PROGRESSION 2

Figure 3.1 Second Progressions.
As a part of my final attempt, I made an effort to put into practice the
recommendation that Ms. Anis had given the previous week. I made the
decision to cut open and uncover the majority of the torso part in order
to expose more of his body contour as well as the design and details of
his costume. To draw more attention to his costume, I refashioned the
coat into a cape in the style of a hero.
The outfit that this character wears is the aspect of my most recent
character design that stands out the most to me. I opted to use Aamon's
suit and upper body armor as a reference for the design of my character,
in addition to Gusion's belt and pants, which served as inspiration for
this particular character.

INSTRUCTIONS :
Throughout the entirety of this task, I was filled with an intense desire to finally create a character that was connected to the games that I adore. I am able to trace my own development from a series of uninteresting sketches to a badass character. During the course of this assignment, our lecturer, Ms. Anis, was a huge help to us in developing a better character who would be appropriate for the modern gaming industry. Her guidance is not simply advice; rather, it is something that has the potential to boost the students' self-confidence while they are developing their characters. In general, I found that I learned a lot from working on this assignment during this semester.
