INSTRUCTIONS

PRACTICAL

EXERCISE 1 ( QUANTIFY AND VISUALIZE DATA ) :

Quantify Objects :

Quantify (count) your chosen items and arrange the objets into a presentable layout or chart. Take a picture and submit it!

Requirements :

Information must be presented as is. You are required to arrange the objects with relevant indicators written out with pens to help you visualize the quantity and data.

Take a picture of the final assembly and upload into your Google Drive folder.

Deadline : Week 1

PROCESS AND DOCUMENTATION

Process #1 :

The lecturer will hand out several objects to the students, such as legos and buttons, and they will be required to identify and sort information from the given data (objects). They must also ensure that the data is presented and delivered to the audience in a professional manner.

Process #2 :

I identified and sorted the provided information in order to make it more acceptable and orderly. I also decided not to use all of the data because the majority of it is out of sync and extremely messy, so I chose the most important data in the end.

Process #3 (Final Result) :

Here's what I came up with as a final product: Despite the fact that both Ms Anis and Mr Martin advised me to sort information the old-fashioned way (with a pen and paper), I chose to digitise the data with my iPad and identify it using the 3D method. I could deliver the information more effectively and aesthetically pleasingly to the audience by highlighting those objects with different colors.

PROGRESS AND RESEARCH

Motion Graphics Trend Infinite Zoom - Logic Motion Graphics

This video, as well as the designer, were both highly inspiring to me; the video and approach used in this video were both very quirky and incredibly unpredictable. They used both 2D and 3D animation in the same film and used a dramatic transition to give the audience various sensations every second.

Nexmo Motion Graphics Infographic - Logic Motion Graphics
With the animation and motion graphics from the video below, the artists succeed in presenting a superb work again and again. I'm pleased with the combination of both  2D and 3D animation, which I didn't realise until I watched it. This video harmonised nicely, despite the fact that they utilized a different approach and 3D animation.

[Motion Graphics] [infographics] Telkom MLS -  Nextframe Digital Studio

This video appears to be very simple at first glance, but once you break down each component, you may want to reconsider your statement because this video is extremely difficult for any graphic designer. I wasn't expecting 3D animation from that video, and the motion graphics are much better than I expected.

        EXERCISE 2 ( L.A.T.C.H ) :

        Data Collection :

Organize a group of information into a visual poster that combined and utilizes the LATCH principles (Location / Alphabet / Time / Category / Hierarchy) minimum 4 principles.

        Requirements :

Use a digital photo editing/illustration software available to assemble the pokemons into a LATCH infographic poster. You can re use back the images of the monster, but do create the rest of your own visuals to complete the poster.

        Size Resolution : 1240 x 1750 pixels or 2048 x 2048 pixels

        Deadline : Week 3

        PROGRESS AND RESEARCH

        Process #1 :

I began by gathering information about Mobile Legends from a variety of reliable websites. I was initially frustrated in my search for appropriate information for this exercise until I discovered mobile legend, which has an original character based on real history from several Southeast Asian countries.

        Process #2 :

I began by creating the background / location because I anticipated that this would be the most difficult section to complete. And it's true that the background took me more than 13 hours to complete due to the intricate details.

        Process #3 :

Following that, I decided to continue drawing my characters using the same illustration programme that Ibis Paint offers. I also used Adobe Illustration to write about the character's information, making use of the available typefaces.

        FEEDBACK

        General Feedback :

Despite the fact that some students were unable to attend class due to the pandemic, Mr Martin and Ms Anis were able to provide us (students) with extremely valuable feedback regarding our first exercise, Mr Martin and Ms Anis were able to handle the situation fairly.

        Specific Feedback :

When I asked Ms Anis about my work, she said it was fine and that the information could be delivered clearly.
